Zoey 101

Zoey 101
Zoey 101 is set in the fictional boarding school known as Pacific Coast Academy, often abbreviated as PCA. Zoey (Jamie Lynn Spears) and her younger brother, Dustin Brooks (Paul Butcher), go there. Formerly an all-boys school, the series opens as girls are admitted to the newly co-educational institution, which features a high school program and a middle school program. When Zoey arrives at PCA, she meets Chase (Sean Flynn) who develops a crush on her. He offers to show her to her dormitory room, #101 (hence the show title, Zoey 101 ). She meets her new roommate and soon-to-be best friend, Nicole Bristow (Alexa Nikolas). They have another roommate, Dana Cruz (Kristin Herrera). Dana and Nicole fight constantly. Quinn Pensky (Erin Sanders), another character on the show, is a weird but an extremely intelligent girl. Soon afterward, Zoey comes across the boys' basketball team and, when she hears the coach talking about tryouts later that week, she tells him she is going to try out. A boy named Logan Reese (Matthew Underwood) claims that girls cannot play basketball as well as boys. Angered, Zoey challenges them to a boys vs. girls game.
