The Parkers
Actress/comedienne Mo'Nique and actress Countess Vaughn, star as the mother-daughter family of Nicole "Nikki" Parker (Mo'Nique) and Kimberly Ann "Kim" Parker (Vaughn), in this spinoff of the hit UPN sitcom, Moesha. This time around, Kim and Nikki enroll into Santa Monica Junior College in Santa Monica, California. Nikki got pregnant with Kim in high school, which forced her to dropout during her senior year to raise her daughter. She never went to college - until now. While Kim is initially bothered by the thought of her mother attending college with her, she eventually accepts it, and they both grow closer because of the experience.
