The Cosby Show

The Cosby Show was a popular sitcom which focused on the Huxtable family, an upper-middle class African-American family living in a brownstone in Brooklyn Heights, New York. The patriarch was Heathcliff "Cliff" Huxtable, an obstetrician. The matriarch was his wife, attorney Clair (Hanks) Huxtable. Despite its comedic tone, the show sometimes involved serious subjects, such as son Theo's experiences dealing with dyslexia, inspired by Cosby's child Ennis, who was also dyslexic.

    Feel no shame Tupacs, this show still gets me cracking up or teary when I rewatch. One of my fave moments was when the whole family sang and danced for the grandparents on their golden anniversary. Rudy was hilarious, "Baaay-baaay!"

    I'm not going to lie...I shed a tear during the final scene with Cliff and Claire dancing together after he FINALLY fixed the doorbell. There will NEVER be a show as great!
