The Comic Strip Presents...

The Comic Strip Presents...
Debuting in November of 1982, The Comic Strip Presents… features the comedy stylings of British comedians from London’s Comic Strip comedy club and their friends. The show offered hilarious parodies of everything from popular film to literature, music, and more. The premiere episode, titled “Five Go Mad in Dorset”, satirized Edith Blythe’s popular children’s series, The Famous Five. The Comic Strip Presents… features Adrian Edmondson, Dawn French, Rik Mayall, Nigel Planer, Peter Richardson and Jennifer Saunders, with appearances by Keith Allen, Robbie Coltrane, Daniel Peacock and Alexei Sayle.
