The doctor advises them to cater to Pugsley's childish whims as he will eventually grow tired of and abandon them. The women on the board don't believe Hilliard's wild story and manage to convince Gomez and Morticia to send Pugsley and Wednesday to school. When Wednesday returns home in tears after being read a fairy tale where a dragon is brutally murdered by a knight, Gomez and Morticia are horrified.
