Star Trek: The Next Generation (TNG) is the highly successful spin-off to the original Star Trek. Captain Picard and the crew of the Galaxy-Class starship, Enterprise, set out to explore the final frontier. Along the way, they make first contact with new species and solve conflicts between species that they already know (including the Romulans and Klingons from the original series). Star Trek: The Next Generation is known as the series that set the Star Trek franchise in motion, with seven magnificent seasons with high ratings.
