Saved by the Bell
Saved By the Bell is a popular teen comedy spun off from Good Morning, Miss Bliss and is set in fictional Bayside High School in Palisades, California. Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani Thiessen) and Jessica "Jessie" Spano (Elizabeth Berkley) are introduced as longtime friends of the original three characters: Zack, Screech and Lisa Turtle. New transfer student A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez) rounds out the group. In earlier episodes, the gang also engage with Max (Ed Alonzo), the proprietor of the local restaurant hangout ("The Max"). The focus of Saved By the Bell is on the exploits of the students themselves - Zack Morris featured as the show's lead character. Bayside's principal, Mr. Belding, is the only school authority figure and has a love-hate relationship with the students.

After seeing a pretty girl walk into the Max, Zack decides to use a school assignment to impress her and get her phone number. While talking, he discovers that Danielle is a college student; he lies about his age so he could meet Danielle and her friends at a nearby dance club. After getting Screech to make some fake I.D.'s so he, Slater and Screech can get into the club, Zack and Slater get more than they bargain for when they find Kelly's boyfriend Jeff dancing with another girl. However, when they tell Kelly, she refuses to believe their story. It is only she sneaks into the club does Kelly discover the truth and ultimately dumps Jeff.

After Kelly breaks up with him, Zack is so heart broken that his friends try to lift his spirits. However, when he gets set up with Screech’s attractive cousin, Zack’s plan to make Kelly jealous backfires and almost causes him to lose his friends. It isn’t until Screech gives Zack some advice that he is able to move on without Kelly as his girlfriend.

With the exception of Lisa, the gang gets jobs at Malibu Sands, a nearby beach club for the summer. Almost immediately Zack gets off on the wrong foot with Mr. Carosi, the owner of the club when he asks to get off early for upcoming birthday. Things get worse for him when he calls Carosi names in front of his daughter Stacey when she arrives at the club looking for him. After some harsh runs in with both Carosi’s, Zack and the gang almost get fired when Lisa decides to have Zack’s surprise birthday party at the club and Mr. Carosi finds out about it.

Bayside’s annual Costume Ball is around the corner and Kelly is reluctant to go with Zack, since she is unsure she is able to afford a costume. After finding out that there’s an opening at the Max, Kelly meets Jeff, when she goes for an interview. After being hired provisionally by him, Kelly begins having feelings for Jeff and as a result, a strain is put on her relationship with Zack. Things come to a head at the dance when Kelly accidentally refers to Zack as Jeff, and as a result they share one last dance before breaking up.
