Salad fingers
Salad Fingers is a surreal psychological horror Flash cartoon series created by British cartoonist David "Foyf" Firth in July 2004 and gained rapid internet popularity in 2005. In the surreal cartoons, the eponymous Salad Fingers inhabits a desolate, sparsely populated post-apocalyptic world in which he revels in the delightful feeling of the textures of various objects on his "salad fingers". He enjoys rusty articles (especially spoons) and derives similar pleasure from experiencing pain. He appears to enjoy meeting new people, though many of his acquaintances are simply avatars (such as finger puppets including Hubert Cumberdale, Jeremy Fisher, and Marjory Stewart-Baxter) for which he provides voice.

Episode Three. Also from 2004. I was busy that year, but then I could crank one of these out in a couple of weeks. Now I get all precious over the way it looks and try to improve the visual quality each time (even though every episode someone tells me it doesn't look as good as it used to - typical!) This was the second cartoon I got featured on newgrounds.com back in 2004. At the time, many fans of the first one told me this was too dark and spoilt the innocence of the original, whilst others said that it was a 100% improvement. To explain why I'm uploading these old cartoons despite them already being on here: I have come to accept that Salad Fingers is always going to get uploaded to Youtube by someone so it might as well be me and it might as well be in decent quality. I've seen too many out of sync, bad sound quality, jerky uploads and it ruins it.
