Remington Steele centers around Private Eye Laura Holt (Stephanie Zimbalist) whose agency's business soars after she changes its name to the masculine " Remington Steele Investigations." A clever thief (Pierce Brosnan) becomes enamored with Laura and, after learning that Remington is a fictitious character, assumes the identity of Remington Steele . The duo team up - with Laura solving crimes as Remington takes the credit. Though the pair cannot deny their growing chemistry, Laura is hesitant to get involved until she uncovers the facts about Remington's true identity.
