Puff, The Magic Dragon

Puff, the Magic Dragon began as an animated TV film released in 1978, based on the famed folk song of the same name (made popular by Peter, Paul and Mary). The lyrics tell a story of the ageless dragon named Puff and his playmate Jackie Paper, a little boy who grows up and loses interest in the imaginary adventures of childhood and leaves Puff alone and depressed. The animated version adapts the song and was followed by two sequels: Puff and the Land of Living Lies, and Puff and the Amazing Mr. Nobody. In all three, Burgess Meredith voiced Puff.
