From the creators of Law & Order comes New York Undercover - a popular police drama among its hip-hop oriented target audience which stars Malik Yoba as Det. J.C. Williams and Michael DeLorenzo as Det. Eddie Torres. Williams and Torres are undercover detectives in New York City's 4th Precinct, assigned to investigate various crimes and gang-related cases. The cast also includes Patti D'Arbanville-Quinn as their boss Lt. Virginia Cooper and Lauren Vélez as Nina Moreno, a fellow detective and love interest to Torres. New York Undercover is notable for being the first police drama on American television to feature two people of color in the starring roles.
