Muppet Babies
Muppet Babies is a very successful cartoon series featuring Jim Henson's famous Muppets as babies. Though the Muppet Babies are confined to their nursery, each episode follows their wild adventures thanks to the creativity of their imaginations. The featured Muppets are Baby Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo, Rowlf, Animal, Scooter, and a new character, Skeeter (Scooter's look-alike sister). Occasionally they have visits from Baby Bunsen and Beaker, and even Statler and Waldorf. The moral glue that holds these Muppets together is Nanny (voiced by Barbara Billingsley of Leave it to Beaver fame), a character whose body is only shown from the waist down - fans of the show will always remember Nanny's green-striped socks!
