The Unbelievable Truth About the Legendary Magic Knights!

The girls head to the castle where a girl, looking like Princess Emeraude, is waiting for them. She attacks them, and truths are revealed, including Emeraude�s love for Zagato. The Princess has manipulated the situation so that the girls would be compelled to kill her. She is now bound with Zagato inside the light over the land. The light disappears and all are relieved.

Showdown! the Magic Knights Versus Zagato

In order to save Cephiro, the girls reach Zagato. They fight and are injured. They now must combine all of their powers, Red Lighting, Dragon Water, and Green Gale, to defeat him. In the final scene, Princess Emeraude screams in horror as Zagato is killed off.

The Last Rune-God: Rayearth, the Lord of Fire
aired: Sun, Mar 5, 1995
Alcyone spies on Zagato as he talks with Princess Emeraude. She slowly is becoming suspicious of this "kidnapping" of Princess Emeraude. As the three girls approach the volcano and the last of the Machines, Hikaru becomes weird and becomes separated from the others. A flaming lion/doglike creature is talking to her. He instructs on the courage of the heart, much the same as the other two Knights have experienced. Zagato himself approaches the volcano and is confronted by Hikaru. He captures Hikaru�s power. In the firestorm that ensues, Lafarga steps in to protect the unconscious Umi and Fuu. Rayearth comes to the rescue, routing Zagato. He restores the powers to the three Magic Knights.
Episode 17
The Truth About Inouva and the Return of Memories
aired: Sun, Feb 26, 1995
Zagato returns Inouva to his true form, a wild beast. Meanwhile, Ferio�s memories slowly come back to him. He reveals himself to be Princess Emeraude's younger brother. The girls are losing in yet another battle with Inouva; all seems lost, until Ferio communicates through the orb that Inouva's weak spot is the jewel on his head. Hikaru manages to hit the jewel on Beast-Inouva's head, killing him. Ferio finally reaches them, and sees the girls� triumph over Inouva, and tells them to save Cephiro! With everyone gone, Alcyone, begs Zagato again to be allowed to kill the girls, but he just leaves her begging.
Episode 16
A Powerful Foe! Lafarga the Swordmaster
aired: Sun, Feb 19, 1995
Zagato informs Princess Emeraude that he is using mind control to send one of the Princess' skilled swordsmen to kill the girls. The Knights are traveling to the volcano-like shrine to revive Hikaru's machine when they are attacked by a big flying bird. The girls discover that their respective weapons are charmed only for the specific owner. A strange swordsman, Lafarga, appears to rescue Umi, but when the three approach to thank him, he attacks all three. As he battles the girls, his memory slowly comes back to him. He reveals that he too is trying to save Princess Emeraude. He wanders away and the girls continue on the quest to revive Hikaru�s Machine.
Episode 15
The Second Rune-God: Windam, the Lord of the Skies
aired: Sun, Feb 12, 1995
Inouva will now attempt to kill the Knights, who are forced to take refuge in a cave. Ferio is to join them. On his way into the cave, he finds a girl, clutching an herb. The girl, Selah, needs the herb to cure her brother's fever. Ferio offers Selah some soup, and she puts the herb in it. Ferio tastes it, but the next day HE comes down with fever. Hikaru and Umi are separated from Fuu; they cross paths with Inouva. Meanwhile, Fuu is being lectured on the true intentions of the heart from a large bird, calling himself "Windam." She is then transported to her friends, only to see them falling. Fuu shows her true spirit, and the giant bird turns into the Machine to send Inouva crawling back to Zagato. The girls return to the cave, where Ferio tells Fuu to forget about him; he was the one who caused all of this. He runs away to the great dismay of Fuu. Zagato now calls forward a stronger warrior named Lafarga.
Episode 14
Hikaru, Umi and Fuu's Unyielding Wish
aired: Mon, Feb 6, 1995
A bright light has appeared, kidnapping Umi and Fuu. Hikaru remembers a map and heads toward them. She gets cut on thorns along the way. Soon after, the light goes after Hikaru, but Mokona pushes Hikaru out of the way and she falls into a ravine. She remembers that Umi and Fuu were bleeding at the time they were kidnapped. Bloody herself, she slowly reaches the top. The light comes after her again, and with her sword she kills the monster within. She retrieves Umi and Fuu and explains the monster's attraction to blood.
Episode 13
The Most Valuable Thing in This World
aired: Sun, Jan 29, 1995
Caldina is determined to kill the girls to gain Zagato�s reward. Ascot tries to convince her to refrain from attacking. Caldina hypnotizes Hikaru and Umi against Fuu. Fuu uses her magic to hold them back; Caldina reveals herself, and forces Fuu to attack Hikaru and Umi. Ascot blocks the attack and Caldina freezes him. Fuu manages to break free and hits Caldina with a spell. Caldina and Fuu start to talk about love and caring. Seeing the change in Ascot, Caldina sees the light. Caldina and Ascot run off to escape Zagato.
Episode 12
The Fearsome Illusionist Caldina
aired: Sun, Jan 22, 1995
The girls seek to retrieve a Machine that is in one of the flying mountains. Caldina and Ascot manage to catch up with them, and initiate what appears to be an earthquake. The girls panic, and take refuge in a cave. They see Clef, who tells them he has saved Princess Emeraude; she wants to talk to them. They make their way outside the cave, and a rock falls on them. Umi turns the rock back onto Caldina, knocking her unconscious. Ascot seems to experience a change of heart. Caldina wakes up to find him acting very strangely, and she wonders what has occurred.
Episode 11
The Legend of the Rune-Gods: In Cephiro, Another World
aired: Sun, Jan 15, 1995
The girls approach a flying mountain that hides the castle where Princess Emeraude is being held. They are attacked by Zagato, but then saved by Princess Emeraude. They are attacked by villagers who explain that a servant of Zagato, Caldina, is torturing them for money. Ferio then comes up with a plan to get rid of Caldina and help the girls escape. He is successful in tricking Caldina into running away, and all are safe.
Episode 10
Revival of Selece, the Legendary Rune-God
aired: Sun, Jan 8, 1995
Umi becomes ill and is separated from the other two girls by a painting of a blue dragon that has comes alive. Ascot then shows up with his monster, and they battle Hikaru and Fuu. Ascot runs off. Meanwhile, the blue dragon tells Umi she must show her courage of the heart. She runs to help her friends and the blue dragon turns into a robot and defeats the monster. The robot tells Umi that she showed her true courage, but tells her she is not yet strong enough to wear him. He turns into a ball of light and proceeds to enter Umi's armor, where the light starts to grow. Hikaru�s and Fuu's armor experience the same change.
Episode 9
The Magic Knights' Greatest Crisis

Alycone tricks Ascot into freeing her from a barrier and promises power to one of his monsters, power to kill the girls. Umi wants to return to Tokyo for her fencing competition, and seems to transports herself just before a snowstorm blasts her two companions. The storm is powered by Alcyone, who is dismayed to find Umi missing. Umi, however, is still in Cephiro, but reality must settle in and dispel the �mirage� she is experiencing.

The Horrible Trap of Summoner Ascot

Hikaru takes in and cares for a small monster. She names it Hikari. However, Hikari is actually a pet that Ascot was training. When her two friends go in search of her and find the �pet,� Hikaru must explain that she has befriended it. The creature becomes enraged and attacks the girls. Hikaru is forced to kill it. They trio continues on its search to find their Machines.

Ferio in Desperation: A Romance in the Desert
aired: Sun, Nov 27, 1994
Each earthquake in Cephiro means that Cephiro is failing. If Cephiro falls completely, the three friends cannot go back to their world. They need to awaken their Machines. Their ally, Ferio, sees Ascot planning an attack and tricks Ascot, by saying he would like to be aligned with him. Ascot is not fooled, and tells Ferio to bring him the girls. Ferio plays along, as he has a plan to defeat Ascot. He lures the girls into the desert, and lures Ascot�s monster away from them.
Episode 6
Lives at Stake: Presea's Weapons
aired: Sun, Nov 20, 1994
Ascot sends one of his worm creatures to kill the Magic Knights. The girls give Presea their weapons and the Escudo. When the monster attacks, Presea continues to prepare the girls� weapons while they do battle with the monster. They are successful in routing the creature, but it then turns to attack Presea. They are able to grab the new weapons and slay the monster, but in the battle, Presea is killed.

Escudo, the Legendary Ore
aired: Sun, Nov 13, 1994
Alcyone begs Zagato for another chance to kill the Knights. They encounter Alcyone�s lake monster in their travels. They jump into the fountain of Eterna to acquire the Escudo, but a test awaits them. They are attacked by visions of their loved ones, and are reluctant to fight back until they are reminded of the nature of the apparitions. As they approach the Escudo mineral at last, Alcyone once again intervenes. She, too, wants the Escudo. They defeat Alcyone with their magic, and rush back to Presea. She will make new weapons and awaken the legendary Machines. On hearing of the defeat of Alcyone, Zagato is angry and sends another warrior, Ascot.

Alcyone, the Vengeful Sorceress

The Knights run into what seems to be a deserted village, but are drawn into battle with one of the monsters corrupting the land�they are victorious. Alcyone, a powerful sorceress, arrives to wreak havoc and attack the girls. With the use of the magic taught to them by Clef, they are able to defeat her. But will they be able to save Cephiro?

Ferio, the Handsome, Mysterious Swordsman

While travelling to Eterna Lake, the Knights run into Ferio, a handsome swordsman. He offers to be their guide. They decline his offer, but he continues to follow them. They eventually agree to hire him on, and discover Ferio is also on a quest to save Princess Emeraude. He assists them in slaying several monsters and departs after leading them to safety.

Presea, the Master Smith in the Forest of Silence

Guided by Clef's words, the girls reach the Silent Forest and find a fortress-like edifice. They meet Presea, the owner of the castle, who confirms that only a Legendary Magic Knight could have gained entry. Presea has them choose their weapons, and instructs them that the weapons will appear only when needed. But they must bring them to Eterna Lake to pick up a mineral, Escudo, which will bring power to their machines. Before they leave the fortress, they are forced to use their wiles and their new gear to defeat a monster. Mokona, a friendly creature from the fortress, guides them to the Lake.

The Birth of the Legendary Magic Knights!

SAMPLE EPISODE ONE with NO COMMERCIAL INTERRUPTION! Three girls from three different schools are transported to a medieval-like land named Cephiro. The girls introduce themselves as Hikaru, Umi and Fuu. They are greeted by a wizard named Clef. He explains that the three are the Legendary Magic Knights, that they are destined to save Cephiro. The high ruler Princess Emeraude has been imprisoned by one of her guards, Zagato, holding her high above the skies of Cephiro. Her absence brings instability to Cephiro. Clef instructs the girls as to how to save Cephiro, and tutors them in the use of magic. Treachery ensues, as battle lines are drawn.
