Heavy Gear
In a science fiction universe four thousand years in the future, Terra Nova is an Earth-like planet made up of the North and South hemispheres, territories that have been in conflict with one another for centuries. Soldiers on both fronts use battle instruments called Heavy Gear - powerful armor of gigantic proportions that combine the maneuverability of heavy infantry and the armament of light tanks - to fight each other.

During a tournament, the Dragons are abducted by the Alien Gear (from Show #123, "Close Encounters of the Gear Kind"), imprisoned in an underground bunker, and interrogated on their strengths and weaknesses. When Marcus discovers that the "Alien" is really a machine controlled by Colonel Rika and the Vanguard, the Dragons defeat their captors, proving why they're the best Heavy Gear pilots on Terra Nova.

However, when the asteroid is knocked out of its orbit and sent hurtling toward the planet, Marcus and Sonja work together to deflect ArmaGeardon, defeat the Vanguard, win the tournament and save the world!
