FIRSTHAND catches up with pro freestyle motocross rider, Kenny "The Cowboy" Bartram, on the second leg of the Vans Triple Crown FMX tour in Jacksonville, Florida. Going head-to-head with pros Dustin Miller, Nate Adams, and Jeremy Stenberg, Kenny takes an impressive second place in the contest to push him back into contention for the '04 Vans Triple Crown FMX trophy. Then he's off to England with Travis Pastrana and Andy Bell, then to Ivan "Ironman" Stewart's, and finally, spends a day at Mike Metzger's track.

We then journey to New York where Ross meets up with pro surfers, Brad Gerlach, Jeremy Heit, and Pascal Stansfield to shoot scenes for his upcoming movie, "Seasons." While in New York, Ross visits New Jersey to surf and have a BBQ dirty jersey style. He then returns to New York to take a boat ride around the Statue of Liberty, then surfs Rockaway Beach.

This story starts at his home spots in the Valley as we get to know this 19-year-old phenom and why he skates the way he does. Paul takes us on a tour of his favorite spots around the neighborhood, while friends and family reveal his history. Then, he flies to Europe with the Nike team to travel to London, Holland and France. This was shot primarily in 16 mm, so enjoy the incredible artistic skating from Paul Rodriguez, aka P Rod.

Aquil then gets on a plane for home where he finds things "back to normal."

Also, they have time for a heli-trip into the avalanche-prone back country. The guides keep the snowboarders away from risky areas, but danger still lurks.

Formerly known for her racing, and currently recognized as one of the top female big mountain riders in the world, we follow Canadian, Victoria Jealouse, on her travels in the Pacific Northwest. Her first stop takes us to the Legendary Baker Banked Slalom in Mt. Baker, Washington; an event popularized not only for the course itself, but for the reunion of family and friends of the snowboarding community at large. From Mt. Baker, Victoria hits the road and heads back home to Whistler, British Columbia, to meet up with friends and partake in three epic days of back country snowmobiling and snowboarding. Victoria reflects on her near-death avalanche experience and teaches us firsthand why it's essential to know your snow safety before heading out into the back country.
