In Japan, Travis secures a second place podium spot at the 4th Annual X-Trial Snowboard Contest in front of 40,000 fans. With a nice bag full of Yen, Travis returns to the States where he visits the DC Lab in Park City, Utah and gives a rare insider's tour of this winter playground. The episode closes with another contest, another medal, and some quality powder runs on Utah's finest slopes.

The "Who's-Your-Daddy" of freestyle moto-cross, Ronnie Renner takes us away from his usual freestyle riding and into two days of punishing racing at Palmdale CA's "Day in the Dirt". Watch as Ronnie toughs it out on the track with the likes of motocross legend Jeremy McGrath. Next, we spend a day with Papa Ronnie as he tries to keep up with his two boys: Nate "Racer" and little Josh "Rider". Then, follow Ronnie to his hidden riding spot in So Cal "The Saloon", where Ronnie does what he does best, FMX. After a quick stop for gear and to sign a new contract at "Troy Lee Designs" it's off to Budapest where the madness begins. At a demo like no other, Ronnie and fellow freestylers perform in what may easily be the most outrageous live stadium moto show ever produced.

An inspiration to women everywhere, 4-time world champion, Lisa Andersen, heads to France to be a contest director for the Women's Roxy Pro. Battling the men and weather for contest surfing, Lisa manages to sneak in a few memorable free-surfs for herself, including one with fellow surf icon, Kelly Slater. Lisa accepts an invitation to compete in the womens' expression session and shows us she still has some amazing surfing left in her. Finally, Lisa heads home to Florida and her family where she goes through her daily routine as everybody's favorite surf mom.

We begin with a trip to surf filmmaking icon, Taylor Steele's, house to get the first look at Benji's completed segment for the upcoming Poor Specimen release Campaign. Next, Benji takes a jump down south to Pacific Beach, CA for his First Annual Little Human's Surf Contest, where today's groms get a chance at winning a classic Ford Falcon. The episode winds down as Benji returns to the North Shore of Oahu where he's mastered surfing along with his close friends Rob Machado and Ross Williams.

Then it's off to Tamarindo with Wingnut to go stay with Robert August of Endless Summer. There, the three longboarders set off in a boat to surf a true gem in the surfing world: venerable Ollie's Point.

The realities of risk and injury unfortunately cut Lincoln's shot at the podium short, but this doesn't stop him from keeping a good attitude and proving why he's admired by pros and fans alike.

In this episode of FIRSTHAND we follow pro wakeboarding veteran, Cobe Mikacich, through a high speed, adrenaline fueled week in his life. Cobe returns home to his wakeboarding roots in Donner Lake, California for the 2004 MB wakeboarding boats photo shoot, while inviting us along on a wakeboarding tour of the lake. We then follow Cobe to his birthplace of Sacramento for the 2003 Malibu Boats U.S. Open of Wakeboarding where Cobe he proves he's still a strong contender in the circuit. The rest of the episode is packed with action, including a rare 120mph tour of the Sacramento Delta in an off-shore racing boat.

This episode is pure comedy, a lot of culture, and about as close to getting to know Rob Machado without being right there with him.
