Dexter
Set in Miami, Dexter centers around Dexter Morgan, a serial killer who works for the Miami Metro Police Department as a blood spatter analyst. Abused and abandoned as a child, Dexter was adopted by a police officer and trained to curb his innate urges to kill by hunting down and brutally murdering only those vicious criminals who have managed to avoid the clutches of the law. Based on the novel, Darkly Dreaming Dexter , by Jeff Lindsay, Dexter stars Six Feet Under’s Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan, Jennifer Carpenter as sister Deb, Julie Benz as girlfriend Rita Bennett, and many others.
