Dexter
Set in Miami, Dexter centers around Dexter Morgan, a serial killer who works for the Miami Metro Police Department as a blood spatter analyst. Abused and abandoned as a child, Dexter was adopted by a police officer and trained to curb his innate urges to kill by hunting down and brutally murdering only those vicious criminals who have managed to avoid the clutches of the law. Immediately after, the unknown man is recognized as the ADA's brother. The ADA, Miguel Prado (Jimmy Smits), invites Dex to his slain brother's wake. Dex blows off Deb for their annual celebration of Harry's birthday. Rita tells Dex she is pregnant.
