Directed by Ueda Ataru, 10 Years Love is based on a manga by Kurashina Ryo, the comic artist behind Teio, Jotei, and other host club-themed works that have been adapted for screen. Gravure idol Sakurai Mari makes her leading lady debut as high school girl Mari, who is in love with popuar soccer team captain Takagi (Sueno Takuma). Takagi turns into the school loser after missing a penalty kick during a championship game, but Mari still likes him and even sleeps with him. Ten years later, Mari and Takagi meet again, but they are now both working as club escorts.
